Description

If you create a protocol variant with the same name as the protocol template, it does not complain and lets you create the variant

However, when the user tries to create a new protocol node and selects (with the Browse button) the variant that you've just created, it shows an error message saying that you cannot have the same name as an existing protocol template.

We should try to understand the reasoning behind this behavior and fix it either to not allow creating protocol variant in the first place or to not complain when adding the protocol node in the experiment design.
