This is implemented by modifying the existing Monosaccharide filter/visitor. To boolean flags (allowModification, allowSubstituents) have been added which are false by default (old behavior of the filter). To add the filtering for Sialic acid the following XML block needs to be added to the filters-array.xml:

<monosaccharideFilter max="0" min="0" label="Sialic acid" name="Sialic acid" type="INTEGER">

<description>Number of Sialic acid residues (all types of Neu)</description>
<sequence>RES

1b:x-dgro-dgal-NON-2:6|1:a|2:keto|3:d</sequence>
</monosaccharideFilter>

Implemented in [1133]

I've added Sialic acid filter. Do I need to add additional filters of this type that make use of the added flags?
